Dental Hygienist
Karissa was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After high school, she worked as a hygiene assistant while taking prerequisites. In 2019, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene.
Karissa enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel at ease in the dental chair. Her goal is to continue to find ways through continuing education to improve her skills and educate patients on the importance of good oral health.
In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors with her family and dogs. She has two young children who keep her very busy!
It has taken me years to find a dentist that isn't judgemental, and provides gentle care for those of us with a history of traumatic dental experiences. Dr. Woods and his team are amazing. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
