Dr. Corey Woods, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Corey Woods grew up in the mountains of northern New Mexico. After attending the University of New Mexico and receiving his undergraduate degree from Montana Tech, he spent years in New Mexico as an engineer before receiving his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Roseman University of Health Sciences in South Jordan, Utah.
Dr. Woods is grateful for the daily satisfaction of serving others that dentistry provides. Whether it's relieving pain, building confidence by improving a smile, or having a positive effect on someone's overall health, Dr. Woods believes every patient encounter is an opportunity to help someone.
Prior to dentistry, Dr. Woods enjoyed a successful career as an environmental engineer. His experiences in this field gave him a unique perspective on the position that dental professionals hold in our society. He is committed to lifetime learning, logging over 100 hours of continuing education every year.
"There is a level of trust afforded to dentists and a level of autonomy that I believe is difficult for those who have not been involved in other industries to truly appreciate. That trust is what drives me to continually learn and improve. My mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive dental care to the highest quality standards, individualized to each patient's needs." – Dr. Corey Woods
An active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Dr. Woods also currently serves as an At-Large Board Member and Legislative Committee Chair for the New Mexico AGD.
Dr. Woods is excited for the opportunity to serve the people of his home state. He enjoys skiing, hiking, and mountain biking, but most of all spending quality time with his wife, Katie, and their two children.
